THEY’RE MARRIED, WORK TOGETHER AND HAVEN’T KILLED EACH OTHER
A unique twist to the show is Gene & Julie are married. Listeners get a behind-the-scenes peek at a real marriage, and they love to laugh at how relationships can be painfully embarrassing. Like the time Gene secretly recorded Julie in her sleep…
The Gene & Julie Show is all about what’s going on in the community while also having fun with relationships, pop culture, celebrity interviews and lots of listener interaction.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
In addition to having fun on the air, Gene & Julie love rolling up their sleeves and getting involved in the community. They have a soft spot in their hearts for schools and spend many afternoons reading to kids and volunteering as Room Parent at their child’s school. They also love jumping in to help raise money for children’s hospitals or other community needs… including getting winter coats for kids:

OTHER PLATFORMS
In addition to doing a morning radio show, Gene & Julie help other romantic couples who work together to successfully navigate the intersection of love and business. Additionally, they have penned a relationship column for JEZEBEL magazine, appeared as Relationship Experts on “HuffPost Live” and contribute cooking and relationship segments to local television stations. They owned a restaurant and LOVE to hit the dining scene so there is a lot of food, dining and then naturally dieting talked about on the show (Gene is the one who cooks, but Julie gladly does the dishes).
